In the Vitra Campus, there is a Black Box in a specially furnished exhibition room, which shows a collection of international toy robots and astronauts from the years 1937 to 1968 by Rolf Fehlbaum. They show the partly utopian ideas of the future and the ever-increasing demands on space travel, which at that time was literally still standing in the stars.

Vitra Design Museum R.F. Robot Collection Poster displays 80 robots from the collection of Rolf Fehlbaum. In addition to the robots, names, manufacturers, sizes, and years of production are listed.
