Serge DeNimes Silver Mushroom Necklace
The Silver Mushroom Necklace is a minimal necklace with a small mushroom pendant and an oxidised finish. The necklace is made from 925 Sterling Silver and is hallmarked by the Goldsmiths' Company Assay Office verifying its quality.
The Surrealism art movement depicted unnerving, illogical scenes, creating a new world through radical ways of thinking. The mushroom is an object that often appears in Surrealism paintings, perhaps because of its 'psychedelic' properties opening up an unnerving and illogical world. The small pendant measures 13mm and has an oxidised finish. The pendant hangs from a slim rolo chain which can be adjusted from 46cm up to 52cm and is finished with a sterling silver lobster clasp.
