Burn sage in well-ventilated area. Do not leave burning smudge sticks unattended
and keep away from animals, children and flammable objects.
Hold the smudge wand in the flame of your lighter, rotate so all sides get lit. Give it a
shake and a good fan. Do not blow on the stick, you will blow away the positive
energy and spirit! Cleanse away when you see smoke and no flames.
Place the smoking smudge stick in a non-flammable bowl to catch the ash and
embers. When you are done, snuff out the embers in the bowl.
You may smudge your home, work place, car, yoga space (before asana practice or
meditation), yourself or your loved ones.

Instructions:
Set an intention.
Light a palo santo stick with a candle, lighter, or match in a well ventilated area.
Hold the stick downward at a 45-degree angle and let the tip of the stick burn for 30
seconds.
Fan out the flame. Place the stick in a heatproof dish to let it burn or hold it and walk
around the room for smudging purpose.
Do not leave burning smudge sticks unattended and keep away from animals,
children and flammable objects.
