The legendary Veja Volley is back! The Volley sneaker was one of Veja's first sneaker models in 2004. The retro design is based on a volleyball sports shoe from the 70s. The new Volley model from Veja incorporates many advances and innovations from the last 20 years. Veja is constantly improving the sustainability aspects of its value chain and supports its regional suppliers holistically.

The French sneaker brand is a pioneer in the fair and resource-conserving production of sustainable sneakers. Veja uses fairly traded rubber from the Amazon region for the soles and innovative, plant-based and recycled materials for the interior. The shoes are sewn in a modern factory in Brazil.

Using an innovative and simplified process, the suede is tanned in the farms of Rio Grande do Sul in southern Brazil in accordance with REACH standards. No chromium, heavy metals or hazardous acids are used in the process. This reduces the consumption of chemicals such as salt by 80% and water consumption by 40%. To protect against light rain, the suede is coated with water-repellent oils without chemical compounds.
