    This signature Norse sports cap is cut from a light cotton twill. Finished with a mini, embroidered "N" logo at the front and tonal "Norse Projects" embroidery.

    The Twill Sports Cap takes its inspiration from the original six panelled baseball cap. The origin of the sports cap can be traced back to the mid-19th century and began as a pure felted wool eanie worn by blue-collar workers.

    With the growing popularity of baseball in America, sportspeople adopted and modified this hat as a replacement to their straw versions that were itchy and uncomfortable. By 1860, a rounded-top cap with a long peak and a button on top was introduced, including eyelets for ventilation. Over time, the cap evolved to include a more extended and stiffer peak and the crown became more structured.
