It originated in the UK. The "O" in its brand name stands for "eau" in French, meaning "water". In the Western cultural tradition, water is a source of beauty.

 The brand is developed by the high-end toiletries series and the fragrance and aromatherapy series. The product line about the aroma and the travel map about the aroma are expanding. In 2018, it was renamed Olfaction N'.
