Start by cleansing your hands and face. Then use just a few pumps of the face moisturizer in your fingers and ""pat it"" into your skin - for a more meditative skincare applcation ritual, while your face is still damp from the previous liquid lotion (toner or cleanser).
Patting method: pour a small amount of product into one palm before lightly rubbing your hands together to evenly distribute the product. Then, gently press your hands against the face. First, both hands placed vertically on either side of the nose, then horizontally over the forehead and chin. If you don't want to waste your skin-care products by rubbing them all over your hands, you can put a small amount on the tips of your index and middle finger and patting it in with quick, repetitive gentle taps until the product seems to disappear into your skin.
