Sujani embroidery hails from the Bhusura village in Bihar. A traditional embroidery technique of straight lines originally used to up-cycle used textiles such as saris and dhotis. Here, women working with Bihart, a company collectively promoting Bihari textile traditions, have used their creative licence to embroider our shirts with traditional village scenes.
