last year with two major flagship openings, kapok has solidly rooted itself in its founding neighbourhood, wan chai, and found a new home at k11 musea across the victoria harbour. against all odds, kapok continues to thrive in 2020.   

situated at landmark basement, a floor dedicated to men’s fashion, the 530-sqf kapok store focuses on shoes, bags and accessories, we carefully curate the star brands including common projects, maison kitsuné, mismo, veja, london undercover, plus exclusive labels such as isaac reina and le gramme. on another hand, lifestyle and beauty products from mad et len, malin + goetz, lumio and cult magazines will take good care of the new kapok men. such offering provides an alternative selection to landmark in a contemporary way.

again, kapok collaborates with collective studio, the world famous architecture firm, for the third time. by using kapok’s signature materials: chromatised steel and plywood, the contrasting coppery iridescent colour and wooden vein create harmonic masculinity, the retail dialogue we start from wan chai carries on …  

O.N.S - landmark

With the success of the first-ever flagship in Wan Chai and a corner at kapok in K11 Musea in 2019, O.N.S continues to expand in Hong Kong. The third store is located at LANDMARK, Central.

This 557-sqf. space expresses O.N.S brand identity to its fullest, housing the latest collection alongside iconic wardrobe stables like classic Fulton Oxford shirts, Village tees in colorama, the much-coveted indigo collection, and dare we say the best chino in-town.   

In celebration of the opening, the LANDMARK store will launch O.N.S x Leah Goren creative lab collection exclusively. Consisting of bold printed tees, bright swim shorts and retro camp collar shirts, the collection is expressed through the lens of the artistic illustrator. On another note, with the elegant Central men in mind, the in-house designers also come up with silk shirts and the best-selling packable suit in new colors as LANDMARK-exclusive items.

Already favoured by local artists, actors and musicians, as a menswear brand for modern living from New York, O.N.S Landmark is destined to become the best address for men-about-town. Not only is it located at the most prominent location in Asia, but also fits right at home for all the urbanites in such concrete jungle. The opening of this Landmark store is an important step for the brand’s development in Hong Kong and beyond.

summer 2020, the new openings at landmark will be a momentous milestone for both kapok and O.N.S in hong kong.  

the new stores are located at landmark, central - the ultimate destination for luxury and fine taste in the world of fashion and lifestyle in hong kong; and we open not one, but two stores, amongst the biggest names in the fashion world.

situated at a long corridor at landmark, our neighbouring stores are rectangular in shape. what appears to be design challenge, the architect exploits it. collective studio makes use of the chromatised steel as “the focal element”. positioning in diagonal manner, the bar stretches from one store to another through the mirrored window they share in between, it links the two stores together as a cohesive unity.  

looking from outside, the genius idea creates a trompe l’oeil effect, it brings about striking visual impact and elongates the stores even further.
